Jonathan Komar, M.D.
“My goal is to relieve patients’ pain and help them achieve the highest level of function possible. That’s why I chose to specialize in physiatry. Using my expertise in physical medicine and rehabilitation, I try to give my patients the power of independence. People recovering from surgery, injury or debilitating conditions simply want to return to their lives. So I form a partnership with them and address their needs personally, to give them the most complete care possible.”
Dr. Komar began his career at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where he earned his medical degree. He completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington, one of the top programs in the nation. Under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Michael Wolff, he completed a year-long musculoskeletal and spine fellowship.
A native of Arizona, Dr. Komar was born and raised in Tucson. He has a passion for outdoor activities such as hiking and running, and especially enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
