New York Jets Running Back Chris Johnson To Use Stem Cell Therapy
More good news about the use of stem cell therapy was released last month: this time, New York Jets running back Chris Johnson, who intends to use stem cell injections to fix his injured knee. Johnson tore his meniscus during Week 3 of the 2013 season, during which he played for the Tennessee Titans. He continued to play through that season in spite of his injury, which, naturally, took a toll—by the end, all that wear and tear had destroyed much of the cartilage in his knee. With the 2014 season fast approaching, Johnson is looking toward stem cells as a way to rebuild that lost cartilage and get himself back into the game faster.
